Getting your car on the cover of a national magazine and winning a world championship is what racing is all about.  Shane Long (driver) and Jack Zedek (crew chief) did just that.  These guys are the dynamic duo of NMRA Hot Street.  As a team in 2003 they were the ones to beat. 

NMRA Hot Street is the Pro-Stock of Mustang racing.  150 mph passes on 10 inch tires are the norm for the class. 

Using Bennett Racing horsepower these guys took on a serious field of contenders and wound up the number one qualifier and the victors more often than not.  Making them champions at the end of a long  tough  season.

The new class rules for 2004 allow a Dominator carburetor and they're stepping up to this challenge.  Look for this class to immediately step up in performance.  These guys are sharp, so we expect Shane and Jack to be in the top of the field once again in 2004.
