2004 Contingency Program

PRO-SYSTEMS, the leader in race carburetion and NSCA the home to the fastest street legal racers announce the PRO-SYSTEMS Speed Equals Power Contingency program. The Speed Equals Power Contingency Program will reward vehicles in NSCA’s heads up classes for using Pro Systems carburetion. The rules are simple. If a racer using PRO-SYSTEMS carburetion establishes a MPH record, and that racer’s record is intact at the end of the season, he/she will receive a 500-dollar check at the 2004 year end banquet. Any vehicle that will be considered for eligibility must utilize a PRO-SYSTEMS carburetor. The PRO-SYSTEMS Speed Equals Power decal must also be on the side of the car claiming the prize. This decal will be above and beyond the standard PRO-SYSTEMS decal.

(*Decal will resemble the one above) The Speed = Power decal must be affixed to the vehicle as supplied, prior to the first qualifying pass of the event the record is set and remain on the car in plain sight until the end of the season. No competing carburetor designer decals/logos can be displayed on the participating vehicle in any form. Holley logos and BG fuel system logos are allowed, but BG Demon style decals and other carb builder decals are not allowed so as not to misrepresent use of the product. The PRO-SYSTEMS Speed = Power contingency decal must be placed in the vicinity of the rear quarter window or c-pillar. As you probably know, the PRO-SYSTEMS Worlds Fastest Carburetors decals have been affixed to the side of our customers cars for many years. In return, we have offered free trackside service, promotion on our website and free small parts to all our racers that have affixed the decal to their vehicles. That program has been great for everyone involved. It's helped the less fortunate with free parts and service to get them back in time for the next round and we've been able to gather some class records in the process. The new Speed = Power program is an effort to move our support of the NSCA and Fastest street car racing up to the next level. Thanks to everyone for participating. Now go get those records!
