Bracket racers are the backbone of drag racing.  At Pro Systems, bracket racing is a weekly routine for us.  We're big fans and bracket racers ourselves.  Gene Hamilton enjoys the sport too,  and now he enjoys it just a little bit more.

My 1969  BBC Camaro " TUFF RAT" was running 6.95 at
97.25 in the 1/8, with 1.55  60 ft. foot braking,
 using a 850 HP Holley. I called you guys to see what
 you could do for me. Well, you recommended that I try
one of your 1000 HP carbs. You said "just bolt it on and
adjust the idle" .
 
Boy! what a great carb!!   The car went 6.82 at 100.25
with 1.47 60ft. on the first pass on the carb. After I
re-jetted up two numbers, the car really came alive.
The best pass was 6.67 at 102.85  with 1.41 60 ft. and
I only leave at 2,500 rpm! It picks the wheels up and walks
right off the line.  Some guys at the track think I
have a trans- brake in the car.
 
I want to thank you for this great carb and also for
taking time to talk to me about what I needed for my
car. Patrick was great on the phone and the service
was great.
